FALLEN KNIGHT

Chev. Lord Abbot Dr. Colin Roosevelt Tatem, CJ, KTJ

~ Newark, NJ ~ 2006

Lord Abbot Colin Roosevelt Tatem, KTJ, was invested into the Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem on the 4th of October 2003 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The Lord Abbot was a sometime resident of New Jersey but was born in the Turcs and Caicos Islands and held Bahamian citizenship. He was an ordained Bishop as well as Abbot, and also served as the head of the Order of Saint Cornelius the Centurion, a worldwide Chivalric Ministry.

He was a man who deeply cared for his fellow men and worked hard to bring God's Love and inspiration to as many as he could. He authored a column in which his thoughts and observations served as a guidepost for his many readers and followers. He was a wonderful man and Templar and the Priory of Saint James of Jerusalem was privileged to count the Lord Abbot as a member. This Templar Knight departed this life in March of 2006 and now serves the Lord directly.
